Families with Children
👨👩👧👦 Can the whole family play? What you need to know before booking The Route of Greed
We know that when you're planning a family activity, a lot of questions come up. Especially if you want the kids to enjoy it, keep everyone engaged, and make sure it turns into a great memory.
Here we answer the most common questions we get—usually from moms (yes, you're the ones making sure everyone has a good time 😉). Let’s dive in 👇
👧 What age is the game suitable for?
Kids from 8 years old
Although The Route of Greed isn’t designed specifically for children, they really enjoy it when playing with family, especially from age 8 and up (or even 7 if they have some escape room experience).
How does it work with young players?
Adults read the clues and story aloud with patience, and the kids help solve puzzles or contribute their ideas. Some challenges are easy, others will definitely need a grown-up hand. But that’s part of the fun!
What about teens, 14 or 15 years old?
From our experience, kids aged 14 and up can play on their own, as long as they like logic games and don’t mind thinking a little.
That said, playing with adults is also a lot of fun—they may still lack the patience to carefully read all clues, and teamwork always makes it better!
🗺️ Do we need to know Benidorm?
No worries!
You don’t need to know Benidorm to enjoy the game.
As long as you can use your phone's map/navigation app, you'll easily find the graffiti locations and puzzle points. The route is designed so anyone can follow it step by step without getting lost.
🚫 What The Route of Greed is NOT:
- It’s not a traditional sightseeing tour.
- You won’t be looking for plaques or reading monument signs.
- It’s not a scavenger hunt with hidden clues around the city.
It’s a logic-based game inspired by urban art and fun brain challenges, designed to make you think, observe, and collaborate.
👨👩👧👦 Is it just for kids?
Nope!
It’s not a kids’ game—actually, it’s not that easy!
We recommend adults come clear-headed, preferably before the post-lunch nap or the beers hit 😉.
It’s great fun for families, but adults will need to participate too—no sitting back and letting the kids do all the work!
👉 And yes—the game is available in English! Just let us know and we’ll prepare the materials accordingly.
