Three to six players per team works best, though if you're a family with kids, one or two more is no problem.

If a team gets stuck, the site gives hints. Nobody stands still.
At Plaza de la Hispanidad, also known as Plaza Triangular, in central Benidorm.
It's a walk of just under a kilometre and takes an hour to an hour and a half.
Where it ends, we're not telling. Only that it's the best viewpoint in Benidorm.

You play in teams of three to six, and the teams compete against each other.
If there are a lot of you, teams set off a few minutes apart and whoever finishes first waits for the rest. Nobody sits it out, and you don't have to split the group across two days.

Coming from Europa it's hard to spot: the entrance is visible from Avenida de Murcia 8. Either way, we'll send you the location and a map before you come.
One person from the group picks it up, on the day or the day before. You don't all need to come. That's where you get the kit and pay.

Nobody gets stuck: if a puzzle won't budge, ask for a hint and the site walks you to the answer.
And if you're in a hurry, you can always guess. You'll move on, but it'll cost you points — and the points get compared at the end.
Yes, and they're often the ones who enjoy it most. Just make sure there's an adult on each team.
Not because they can't handle it: they'll hit the button without thinking twice. It's that some puzzles are big for them, and that's where an adult is worth having — breaking the problem into pieces, looking slowly, waiting. That sticks with them more than the answer does.
No cup, no medal. You finish by discovering where the gold ended up, and each team keeps its score: you'll know who won.
What you take home are the laughs, the rivalry between teams and a while spent together. Which is what you came for.
Yes, and it's easier than it sounds. Put together a white envelope with “Read at the end” written on the front and place whatever you like inside: a letter, a photo, a chocolate bar for the little ones.
Slip it into the bag before you set off. Nobody opens it until the last puzzle.
